We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Vacuum Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of vacuum trucks to transport, load, and offload liquid and solid materials from various job sites. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and a willingness to work in industrial, construction, and environmental service environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate vacuum truck and related equipment in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform loading and unloading of materials including liquids, sludge, and other waste.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Complete and maintain accurate driving logs, manifests, and other required documentation.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental regulations.
- Assist with general labor tasks as needed at job sites.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and clients.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL (Class ) with tanker and/or hazmat endorsements preferred.
- Minimum [2 years ] of driving experience, preferably in vacuum truck or similar equipment.
- Clean driving record in accordance with company standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime when required.
- Capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in outdoor/industrial environments.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
