We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Vacuum Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of vacuum trucks to transport, load, and offload liquid and solid materials from various job sites. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and a willingness to work in industrial, construction, and environmental service environments.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate vacuum truck and related equipment in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
Perform loading and unloading of materials including liquids, sludge, and other waste.
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
Complete and maintain accurate driving logs, manifests, and other required documentation.

Environmental Technician

The Environmental Technician is responsible for responding to and managing various accident cleanup operations, including hazardous material spills, fuel releases, and other environmental incidents. This role ensures that cleanups are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Assist in preparing incident response summaries and compliance records.
Adhere to OSHA, DOT, EPA, and state environmental regulations during all cleanup activities.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety, or related field preferred.
Prior experience in environmental services, spill response, or hazardous waste handling preferred.
Knowledge of HAZWOPER (40-Hour) standards and OSHA regulations required (or ability to obtain certification).
Confined Space Entry certification (or ability to obtain certification).
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; CDL preferred but not required.
Strong understanding of hazardous material classification, containment, and disposal.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.

Bus Operator

The Professional Bus Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and courteous operation of company-owned motor coaches and other passenger vehicles in compliance with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR), Department of Transportation (DOT) rules, and American Safety Transit, LLC policies. This position plays a key role in ensuring that passengers are transported safely, comfortably, and on time to their destinations while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Excellent driving and navigational skills.
Professional communication and customer service demeanor.
Operate a motor coach or other passenger vehicle in a safe and lawful manner at all times.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT regulations and company procedures.
Ensure vehicle cleanliness, proper fueling, and general readiness prior to each trip.
Safely transport passengers to scheduled destinations according to assigned routes or itineraries.
Load and unload passenger baggage and assist passengers with special needs when required.
Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, inspection reports, and driver hours of service in compliance with DOT regulations and company policy.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum age: 25 years.
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – Class B or higher with Passenger (P) Endorsement and Air Brake Certification.
Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3 years.
Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred (motor coach, school bus, or commercial passenger transport).
Knowledge of DOT Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and FMCSA compliance standards.
Ability to read maps (software), follow GPS directions, and adhere to scheduled itineraries.
Professional appearance, strong interpersonal communication skills, and customer service orientation.

Dump Truck Driver

The dump truck driver responsibilities include using the cranks and levers inside the truck to unload materials, supervising the loading of materials onto the truck, and inspecting the truck for any mechanical issues before and after every trip. You should also be able to safely drive and operate the truck in all weather conditions.

To be successful as a dump truck driver, you should be able to pick up and deliver materials according to a schedule. Ultimately, a top-performing dump truck driver should perform all duties in accordance with company safety rules and Department of Transportation (DOT) road safety regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

Transporting crushed rock, sand, and gravel to and from specified locations.
Verifying the types of materials being transported and ensuring that they do not exceed weight restrictions.
Ensuring that the materials are loaded correctly onto the dump truck.
Greasing the dump truck every 5,000 miles.
Inspecting the dump truck before and after every trip, which includes checking the oil, gas and water levels as well as the lights and tires.
Promptly reporting any accidents, injuries or mechanical faults to management.
Performing regular maintenance to ensure that the truck is in good working order.
Maintaining accurate driver logs.
Complying with all safety rules and regulations.

Education and Experience Requirements:
